Freddy è stato l'unico cantante Rock a duettare con un mito della lirica, Montserrat Caballé, quasi alla pari. In realtà, avrebbe potuto cantare qualsiasi cosa con quella voce. Dopo neanche venti anni, il 24 novembre 1991, Mercury sarebbe morto di Aids. Se fosse stato qualche tempo fa, sarebbe ancora vivo.
